Do not go day by day trying to avoid this or that sin, but pursue the highest peak, to climb higher than any can imagine, to become the fountainhead whose waters others may drink, the illumination through which others may see the true light, the love that finds its source in the cross of Jesus Christ.
Do not become a saint, become the highest one, above the lower ranks, so that seeing you in pride, your brothers and sisters will cry that this man gave himself for us, to show us the way back to the Christ.
