St. Paul did not love the sexually immoral, as you may think, nor did he have any regard for them. He cast them out like dogs from the church, the community of Christians which he knew and to whom he preached the Good News of Jesus Christ. When St. Paul refers to the saints in his letters, he is referring to me, not to the adulterous he is about to cast out and judge with hellfire.
