Christianity is a home. In one room there is prayer, in another there are the Creeds. In another room, there is justification, in another there is sanctification. In one place, you may meditate on and ponder the love of God, in another you may realize and sense the omnipresence of God. There are the Psalms, flight from danger, refuge in God, and there are the Letters of Paul, redemption and the joy and peace of God. There is the contemplation of heaven in the upper room, and there is the faith the way there in another room. There is victory in one room, the victory of Christ, and the Sermon on the Mount in another room. There is so much to do, so much to know. Come enter through the gates with faith in Jesus Christ, and enter the Father’s house with many rooms, prepared with a place for you by Christ, who will come again and one day take you to himself, to a place even beyond these rooms.
