There is no exception to the Law of the Lord, the Ten Commandments. There is no way around, above, or underneath. There is no exception, no matter what.
When God says that adultery is wrong, it is wrong on all accounts. The response to sexual coercion is death. This is the Law of the Lord.
What of murder, one may ask? Look at Joshua and his wars?
When God says you shall not murder, it is wrong an all accounts, war not being an exception for sin, our weakness and due to God’s lenience and God’s mercy, but for protecting the very law God has placed and the commandments being secured.
Further, there is no such thing as murder without there being a war between nations. In this context, nation against nation, land against land, God is allowing killing for the sake of the upholding of his ways and the safety’s of his people between nations and groups by divine instruction and command.
