Turn my weakness into strength,
My ignobility into regality,
From slave to heir,
And from humility to greatness,
My insufficiency into completeness,
My nothingness into fullness
My inadequacy into the boasting of angels,
Take me from defeat into victory
From sinfulness into heroism
So that standing before You,
On the last day from the first,
I may look upon you
With pride and in strength,
In confidence and in love,
In honor and in dignity,
Beholding your light and your nature with a gaze fixed and unwavering,
Without the bended knee of the humility of the earth,
But now without blemish,
without stain,
in holiness and in power,
as a son,
a king,
a lord,
and a god amongst men,
crowned,
victorious,
invincible before evil,
immortal before death,
and eternal before the brevity of creation.
Give me sword and shield,
Breastplate and crown,
One as your words, the other as faith,
One as the righteousness that comes from Christ, and the other as bestowed upon those who have fought with the constancy of unchanging and undefeated will,
For in you a golden will is granted a golden crown, and a place amongst the just.
