The unrighteous never win truly or even partially by means of their sin. The fulfillment of their desires is in fact their torture. It is an endless circle, in which what they seek is obtained but then strikes back to be their demise. The only power that is capable of giving the unrighteous some desired outcome does so only in appearance - that power being the devil.
The unrighteous only have the appearance of victory, there is no achievement apart from God, none. Look deeply and you will see - often you must hear God’s voice to know the inadequacy of anything and everything the unrighteous obtain. They may even wear a crown in your sight with you believing they have obtained grandeur, yet it is in fact merely made of plastic.
They may have all the pleasures in the world, yet only to experience its inability to fulfill truly. It is a circle that never ceases turning, that brings one inevitably back to oneself in pain and in humiliation. Yet, only they know, and you do not, for the show must go on, and the devil continues to deceive the masses.
