Translations into English may be the death of beauty, for it is a peering into the heart of an ugly writer, the translator himself. English is as clay while Armenian is as a castled fortress of fixed meanings and philosophies unshaken from age to age. English is malleable and exposes the heart, unconcealed in disgusting contents and odd desires and communications. One word can be used in a thousand ways, whereas in Armenian it is used in one way or maybe even two.
