Metaphors and stylistic logic as replacement are not fillers for redemptive gifts. To do so is pathetic. What man needs is to face tragedy and fight moving forward, or true gifts from above. The cover of sayings and poetry prevents such confrontation with reality - thereby becoming an obstacle to the attainment of the fullness of a man of God, of Christ. Life’s inspiration comes from a hope born from within darkness, an eternal vision, a mind that sees greatness beyond that outdoes the present. The substance of gifts is not style, it is from above and the alternative is a cross and crucifixion, not a saying. For the crucifixion has a resurrection.
