The scholarship of this age in theology is misdirected, for rather than imitating those who came before us, ever battling heresies, sins of thought and of various practices both ritual, spiritual and cultural, we busy ourselves with research that ought to be kept to ourselves - divulging on factoids and particularities seemingly thinking that there is nothing else remaining to write about!

There is a world full of sinners, full of mistaken thoughts, misunderstandings, in need of apologetic writings, requiring the most extreme intelligence and brilliance and research, to battle the ways of this world, to rebuke demons back into hell.

Not only this, we need prayerbooks, revitalizations in spirituality, ways of moving about this world in victory and in peace and in sacrificial love.

There was no scholarship where saints wrote of their new thoughts and fascinations with writings, rather there was catechesis and teaching and tracts on spirituality.

So, scholars, theologians, let go of research for publication, pick up the pen and start rebuking the ways of this world, the demons that plague society, giving way for a flow of grace from heaven, for the sins of mankind are innumerable and require the mind of God to combat and to defeat the temptations that so plague humanity. And in rebuking these demons, by writing, by speech, by tracts, and by prayer, we nourish the world and turn waste lands into holy gardens.
