Father of righteousness, in the day of the sin of Adam, he was cast out of Paradise, and since that day mankind has suffered a life, a world, a cosmos that is subject to death and decay. Life is not as good as it should be, for look at the mortality and violence within all people and in all the living, even the animals you fashioned on the days of creation. Adam violated your law. You have spoken that Thou shalt have no other gods before me. And there in the beginning Adam violated this law. Do not blame me for the corruption of all things, for the death that is at work in the cosmos in all places, for in Christ I find my refuge, within your mercy, where the beginning of the new heavens and new earth is found. Remove the curse of Adam from upon me and all creation, whose groaning in union with my voice in longing for newness of life is answered only by your creative power and infinite love in crucifixion and resurrection. Bless me without limit and without end, recreate the cosmos in perfection. For I love you and seek you with all my heart, forever and ever. Amen
