Though there are those that are worthy of the title Տէր, the priest we may love and respect, there are few. And all may honor and revere the church as an entity based in heaven, with its saints being the royal priesthood, rather than its earthly ones who function as mere administrators rather than essential limbs of the body of Christ.
I may love the holy Armenian Apostolic Church without regard for the present priesthood which is not by definition even a part of the church without the presence of Jesus Christ within the soul.
