There is this game humans play, the game of survival, of dominance, of rivalry, of competition - despite perfect freedom, a near perfect environment - based simply on the desire for more - something or someone in particular, to dominate and be superior. But really, I could go in a cave or in a corner and pray, reaching the heights of the stars, the peace of eternity, with joy unspeakable. What is life? I could pray and go to heaven. Why struggle like a beast when you can be friends and be civil? This is humanity, to love, to be civil, to be humane, and not to fight. For the days of beasts are over. The day of the Lord has come. It’s a game, this fighting without war, and it seems real to those who are in it, driven by past traumas and unhealed humiliation and fears. The fight for family is different, for children and for babies, but in reality - most men fight out of sin, trauma, ignorance, fear, and envy, and the desire for more.
