To hold a Christian accountable to the standards of the Bible rather than simply the law is actually a violation of the law, an intentional infliction of emotional distress. For one would only do so provided the law’s standard is too low for this individual, which necessitates an admission that he is good. Though seeking to test him and hold him to a higher standard, the Bible’s standard, despite knowing and admitting he is good, is in fact a form of tormenting and intentionally inflicting emotional distress because you are trying to put a good person through extra trouble.
