Jesus Christ knew no sin. He was sinless, yet he became sin. Do not be quick to conclude in the beauty of our salvation, meditate rather for days, if not weeks, upon the sinless Christ, the one who knew no sin, and was and is innocence itself.

He knew no sin. Not only did he not sin, but his mind, his heart, his spirit, did not near it so much as to know what it is.

This is not absence of wisdom, for Jesus Christ is knowledgeable and shrewd, yet in his nature, sin had no place. His being is the source and emanation of sinless innocence.
