Our Lord did not fall, being sinless from birth, to death, and to resurrection. Yet, while the great men we know may fall, they have risen from the darkness of these deaths more than many times, giving voice to that which is greatest, the redemption of the Son of God.

St. Paul, neither skilled in prayer as St. John, nor devout as St. Peter, attained greatness in the strength of his repentance and in the voice of his glorying in the way of faith, writing nearly the entirety of New Testament, our very Scriptures, and changing the world.

They nearly bowed the knee before this man, as some have called, the greatest Apostle.

Do not fall, but rise, and as the mind of St. Paul would have us see, behold a lowly man of the dust, the chief of sinners, an inconsequential man, the lowest of the earth, become lifted up unto the heavens, to see what none hath seen before.
