Placing normality as a judge of rationality is a common mistake or fallacy of the unintelligent. For thinking that reason must be dictated by cultural etiquette and fitting into the standard deviation of the average human is a denial of reason and a misunderstanding of its nature.
When I dance, I must dance with the rhythm of the beat like others, but when I think and act in situations and behaviors other than those that possess cultural import, the laws of reason and logic, having practical import and bearing on truth overturn what is deemed cool or culturally proper.
