Let us teach our children the ideals and propaganda, the stories and the tales of history, so that when they grow older and see these fixtures within their mind fall apart and shatter, they may cringe rather than sigh, and so that in cringing they may be disturbed deeply so as to make these ideals and stories of humanity manifest in history, for moral anguish in the sight of the failures of humanity create sturdy men and heroes from youth, till carrying upon their shoulders the burden of civilization, in pain of heart and in rage, they may become the very pillars they so admired.
