Witchcraft and sorcery involves the opposite of redemption, in which evil is used for good. It is when good is used for evil. It also involves non physical evil, through the mind commenced by looking at someone, derogatory false speech, and inner hatred in the heart (St. Patrick’s Prayer - last lines), the swapping of spiritual bodily substances and body parts until everything is swapped - blessings, gifts, personality, demeanor, reputation, personal virtues stored in the soul, future blessings, successes, and even wife etc. In some cultures, it’s called eating the “inner body.” Historically, maleficium or “mischief,” the term for Europe in the medieval era, involves envy culminated by the eating and consuming the object of envy. Witchcraft is about reversals in the opposite direction of redemption. For example, a harmless and innocent girl on earth was bitten by a snake and died. In heaven it written that the children play in the cobras nest (Isaiah). This is redemption: when the girl can play in the cobras nest. But in hell, the story would go as follows: the girl is accused of bothering the cobra who defends itself from a violent child. The cobra is seen as benevolent defender and child as violent aggressor. The snake takes the innocent girl’s body and with it her reputation, her innocence, her blessings and everything along with it.
