The US Constitution, the Bill of Rights rather, is a heavenly picture. It is heaven enclosed in law, in words enforced by the government. Put all the rights together and you will see an image of perfect happiness, that no other civilization has enjoyed. Even the common citizen possesses rights granted only to kings and aristocracy at best. No one shall hinder one’s life, liberty, and property - imagine, what a blessing we enjoy. No one may impede, impose, attack - no fight necessary, nor battle needed to be secure in my person, papers, and effects, my very home made inviolable. It is heaven to enjoy these rights. And if you know it, you can sit there for hours and marvel, at the beauty of life, or even the room in which you dwell.
Though when the government cannot secure our safety abroad, how can we be secure at home, seated in our little houses, with the threat of attack from any nation. It’s a delusion, a fantasy.
And while men go abroad to defend those rights, the lives of millions, so many thereafter violate those same rights nonetheless within the borders of the US.
