If God were have to created man in his own image, why do we not glory in the beauty of monkeys and chimpanzees? Let us sit here and appreciate them, the glory of our ancestors? Where is your respect? Your reverence? Your awe?
There is none.
They are foreign to us.
Rather we disgust in them by comparison to ourselves. Beholding the great statues of gods we see our selves, glorious, mighty, beautiful, gleaming and pristine, or as we would be. Deep within the mind we know, our image is that of God. We are gods, not monkeys.
We, or I rather disgust in the appearance of and likening of man to monkeys and chimpanzees. This is does not negate the process of evolution but merely puts a foothold. We were and never have been monkeys. We like what we are or have been. You’re welcome.
