Family life, order, and cohesion is directly in opposition to sin and the way of selfishness. There is nothing more repulsive to a familial heart than the regard for an individual family member as a sole entity as some cultures have it. Over familiarity with those outside the family system and its true allies is an intrusion on the soul of the individual and family. In contrast, to attack a family member as an outsider is also a very felt sensed abnormality.
