Saints are never exiled from the church. They are embraced. And if exiled, it is never for being Orthodox or defending Orthodox Trinitarian theology, but for a mistake or a sin.

Rather, it is the opposite!

St. John Chrysostom was exiled based on his speaking out for the poor against the oppression of the empress of his time. And one was driven out and exiled from the church numerous times for defending what became our Symbol of Faith, the Nicene Creed, the foundation of Orthodox Christianity and of salvation, the knowledge of the deity of Jesus Christ our Lord and our God.
