Famine, earthquakes, heat, cold, the trials of surviving amidst the deserts, wilderness and nature’s raw terrain, spiritual struggle, finding quiet amidst city dwelling, seeking cooperation amidst conflicting interests, finding peace in trade and in travel: these are challenges we ought to face and overcome.
