Perhaps the Good News is a prism, shining in all directions, or an elixir that can heal all ailments. To moral wrong and sin, the Good News is justification; to death, it is resurrection; to the rejected it is the love pouring forth from the crucifixion; and to the fearful it is the Nativity, the birth of the baby Jesus Christ in the arms of a Virgin mother. Perhaps the Good News is a prismatic power, an elixir of all ailments, that when shining brightly in any direction may burn and cast away all evil and make way for the good.
