Life is complex, multifaceted, and the will of God difficult to discern. Choose what you want and pursue it. Do not always seek the will of God in general for your life, for he will not easily give you insight at all times. Choose a path, a virtue, an excellence, and walk upon it to the end, then God’s will may conform to yours, or God’s will be more revealed to you. We are given the command to ask so that we may receive, so that we may rejoice in life’s possibilities courageously, seeking, finding, and receiving. So don’t say, God show me your will! Say, God, I love you, I know your will, and this is what I desire as well.
