It is not the man’s job to keep a woman chaste through attraction but through prayer and the sanctifying acts involved in spiritual life. It is a woman’s duty to keep herself pure as well. This is an old tale to some, and to me a way that is as rare as sainthood in the modern world. It is a peering into heaven, a way to eternal life, and a glimpse into the holiest and most crystalline and beatific attributes of the divine nature.
