We think that St. Paul was some small man with a reversal of the world order where those who are weak are favored and those who are big are not. Or that he compensated for littleness by his thinking and reliance on biblical truths.

But in reality, St. Paul was a holy warrior, who would be on the front lines as everyone and all shivering and trembling in fear would follow him to death. He was a knight of the Lord, a king of his table. He was a fierce man and unbeatable. An invincible mind, a strong heart, and a body ready to die for all, to be enflamed for the sake of the Lord, able to bring all to shed blood by act, by speech, and by love.

There is a virtue named fortitude, and it is made of him and is forged of the element of his very being.
