There once was a King named Trdat. He wanted so dearly to be happy, yet in greed and in covetousness. He turned to a holy woman, a close friend, named Nayri. As she contemplated his question, she thought to herself as she beheld the closure of the sky upon an evening with the appearing moonlight.
If I pray, it will only take moments to attain a happiness so great, it would replace the sun, the moon, and stars for you, however, you must find joy without such supplication to God, for in doing so, you plant the virtues and the holiness as a tree to bring forth fruit for your family and people to gather.
I do not believe you, said Trdat the King, show me the moon and stars and the sun tonight, and I will not slay you this coming sunrise.
As she prayed a prayer from the depths of her heart, uttering with longing for the resolution to the approaching trials, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob blessed Nayri with joy so great and eternal, it cost the King his kingdom in graces, beholding the coming Kingdom of Armenia being baptized in the waters of heaven and renewed by the blood of Christ and the martyrs to be slain at the risen sun the following morning, beholding upon her head a crown bestowed by Christ, for the trials she would face.
Many saints martyred the following day, virgins and beautiful women in unison against the desires of lust, Nayri nowhere to be found, the great holy maidens of the Lord remained relentless in chastity, guardians of the love and purity of Christ within their hearts and holy bodies, as the Great Illuminator rose from the pit of darkness and in miraculous intervention, with hammer, established upon the land the throne of God in conquest. Approaching the king with neither sword nor armor, yet with the sword of the Spirit, a tongue of fire, and powers given through over a decade in the depths of prayer, he slew the demons and the idols of the land, to bring the completion of the work of the Holy Apostles.
There was born, baptized, and cleansed, a new Kingdom of Armenia, rejuvenated with fruits and trees planted in the virtues of chastity and fortitude, built upon the pillars of the martyrs and holy maidens, eternal and immovable, to bring true joy to the world upon the request of Nayri before her gruesome death, blessed to be among the virgins who bore the Christian Kingdom of Armenia within their wombs.
