Hearing the voice of God, verbally, is a lost gift. How many people have been called insane due to their passion for hearing the voice of their king? The beauty, the resolution, the voice from which one word can heal every single wound, every single hurt, every single pain, every single tragedy. I could face a thousand years of tragedy, if my king were to speak one word it would be worth it, and I would be healed and made new.
