Wise man: Come sit, my advice is this: don’t listen to God. He’s hopeless, he is depressed, he’s always going to tell you there is no hope and then give you a way out once you use your head. Okay? Just read the Bible. It’s his book. He said it very nice there, okay? 

Little boy nods his head in deference and approval. “Got it” said the boy. 

“Okay, now tell me, what’s going to happen when you do something wrong?”

“I’m going to tell God to shut up and read my Bible,” said the boy. 

“Good, and what if God says there is no hope for you?”

“I’m going to read more and keep trying.”

“Good boy,” said the wise man. “God loves you.”
