Love of neighbor in the love of God is said to be higher than love of God simply. However, the seraphim praise God and will do so endlessly, without love of neighbor in expression. Seraphim are the highest beings, beneath Holy Mary the Mother of God, and Jesus Christ, the Son of God. Therefore, love of God simply mystically in heaven is a higher form of love. 

Seek the perfect love of God and like the seraphim, without guilt of bringing it to a neighbor, for in bringing this love to your neighbor you must turn at least to some degree from your gazing at God.
