A society without culture is a society with flavor and color. For culture is simply the aggregate of all normal practice and behavior in a cult within a people group. When variability is actually allowed, creativity flourishes and culture in the truest sense of the word begins to have its original quality of giving life, music, sweetness, and taste to life, and story and making history present in life. When culture becomes a cult and ceases to be archetypal, it becomes superficial yet overpowering in its oppressive nature.
