Temple Courts

About halfway through the feast, Jesus went up to the temple courts and began to teach. John 7:14

On the last day of the feast, the great day, Jesus stood up and cried out, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, ‘Out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.’" John 7:38

The Temple Courts, the Forum Romanum, the Ancient Agora of Athens, all of these were used in history as places of speech, the sharing of ideas, the advancement of civilization. Many ancient cities, cities and towns still now have town squares. In the days of Christ, before and well after, these were the places people would congregate, where great preachers and philosophers, politicians would share their ideas and rhetoric. Come and reason with me, come and speak aloud to the masses and change the world with the strength of the tongue and of your words.
