Written Within the Heart
The Law of God is just, it is fixed in the heavens eternal. It has its home in the conscience, speaking deeply to the soul. It is in a sense the voice of God, more rightly thought to be the sense of the Law of God, where God speaks to needy believers, saints, and all alike. As we meditate on the Law, we begin to become in tune with or rather behold around us the substance of the Law, as though omnipresent, everywhere, palpable in contemplation, nearly physical yet immaterial, discernible in creation, an energy flowing, singing through space and all things. It is tied to the omnipresence of God, a feature of the being of God, a facet, an attribute, emanating from the essence of the divine being, reigning humanity’s relations to one another, and justly teaching us to love God. It is strong, it is just, it is justice, clean, fresh, and heaven itself.
When the Law of God reigns in the hearts of men, heaven makes its home on earth.
