The Silence of Mar Charbel
Մար Շարպելին երեսը լռութիւն է։ Աղոթքի մեջ երեսը դիտէ եւ կը գիտնաս այս լռութիւնը: Երբ խիխճմտանքը խաղաղ է, լռութիւնը դուրոյն կը գթնուի։ Երբ խիխճմտանքը խանգարուած է, լռութիւնը չի գթնուիր, եւ այդ լռութիւնը փորձել գթնալ լաւ չէ։ Հանգիստ եւ խաղաղ խիխճմտանքով կրնաս Աստուածային խախաղութիւնը փնտրէլ:
The face of Mar Charbel is silence. Behold in prayer his face and you will see. When the conscience is at peace, silence is natural. When the conscience is disturbed, silence can never be found, nor should be. In the peace of conscience you may reach the peace of God.
