Logic
Do not be swayed by emotions. Do not wake up and intuit the impressions of the heart. Do not sense.
Think.
Use your mind, do not deny it. Do not deride logic, but become a genius of thought. Become the smartest man alive, or as smart as possible, for Christianity has never been a unintelligent religion, but reserved for those who used the mind to the utmost and excelled in philosophy, science, and humanities.
St. Mesrop Mashtots, St. Athanasius, St. John Chrysostom the Golden Tongued, St. Krikor Narekatsi were all geniuses. Do you want to enter heaven? Become a genius, not a mere sensor of the heart in the morning, nor for every decision.
Think about what is right, think about what you ought to do, set rigid boundaries for your mind, not to violate logic based on emotions and senses, for spiritual discernment, divine perception is clearer than day and is not merely a sense in the heart, but a certainty beyond certainties, not mere emotion or impression of heart.
Logic must be used in decision making, assessing the right choices. What ought I to do? What is the right course of action? And making a list, engage your mind and discover the best path forward. Leave sensing to the gnostics, for saints and mystics, resting in the being of God, penetrating the heart of hearts, beholding the face of Jesus Christ, did not engage in this flamboyant cause.
But know, that without essential knowledge of good and evil, your logic has not the logic of God.
