Chastity
The chaste mind can see the repulsively of even the slightest impurity. It can sense viscerally the wrong of sexual immorality. It is not a principle to be held in the mind, burned and engraved and chiseled upon the heart, it is a gift placed within the spirit, a sensitivity to unchastity that guides one into purity. The conscience guides us into right decision making, and when imbued with chastity, when united with purity of heart, gives the body and mind and eyes viscerally the knowledge of unchastity, not only in fear of God, but also in its repulsiveness, its ugliness, and its defiling nature. The chaste heart gives the conscience a new ability, a new perception, the ugliness of sin, as though it were odorous and undesirable beyond measure.
