An ascent into heaven begun upon the earth of my heart,
With words as arrows shooting into the stars and into the night,
Aimed at the being of God,
For in fighting and seeking,
I will find him whom I must love,
And with arrow shot into heaven,
I will conquer and be one with my Savior, my redemption, and my salvation.
Armed with a question,
A strike to the chest,
Arrows flying overhead,
Shielded as a knight amidst wars,
To be crowned a king,
I seek him, fighting to find that which he is,
And the object of my desire
In blood, in tears, in love, and in desperation
For eternity, for heaven, for my love.
The will of God,
Attainable by prayer and by act,
My prayers effective within the citadel of grace, forgiveness, and mercy,
I ride towards the upward call,
Upon horse and with sword,
Slaying all between him and me,
To do what no one else can or shall,
A life given to God, a body given unto death
In defense of land, of man, of family, and of the way of Christ,
To teach by fierce heart,
That my will is one with his,
Thy will be done, in me and in all.
With the right hand of the almighty Father,
His winds behind me and propelling me onward,
I seek to reach a land where I may die a worthy death,
Immortal, free, and devoted,
Attaining what I sought to attain,
A place in the Father’s Kingdom,
A saint, a knight, a king,
A god of men,
A god of gods,
The vision set within me,
Of the ranks of those who came before me,
Having fought and died for all.
